URBAN WINE ADVENTURE® – OFFICIAL GAME RULES 

1. The purpose and general description of the program 

The Urban Wine Adventure® is an interactive, cultural leisure experience that offers a unique combination of sightseeing and wine tasting. The aim of the game is for participants to discover city landmarks while tasting special wines (and occasionally coffee specialties), and to expand their knowledge through educational content and playful quiz questions.

The program is available in two versions:

• Online edition (in the Walk&Quiz system)

• Retro edition (with a paper-based game)

Participation in any form of the program constitutes acceptance of these game rules. 

2. Conditions of participation

• Participation is always subject to prior purchase.
• One purchase = participation of one person. Only the purchase of the full-price program entitles you to wine tasting at the designated hospitality venues ("Wine Points").
• Each participant must register  with a separate purchase and a unique email address for the online version.
• Multiple people can play on one device, but in this case, the wine tasting at the Wine points is only provided for one person; the others can consume at their own expense. 

3. Technical requirements – Online edition

The online version of the Urban Wine Adventure® takes place on an interactive internet platform, operating on a map and GPS-based system (Walk&Quiz system).

Participation requires:

• smart device (smartphone or tablet),
• active internet connection,
• permitted location tracking (GPS),
• a unique user account that is created after email registration.

Important: 

• After the purchase, the system automatically sends an email with the registration link. The account can only be created with the email address used for the purchase.
• The game, like the app, can also be placed directly on the phone's home screen.
• The gameplay can only proceed in the predetermined order, step by step. Skipping or retracing stations is not possible. 

4. The course of the walk – Online edition

• During the game, you need to complete 9 stations (4 Wine points and 5 city landmarks).
• The route is circular, approximately 2.9 km long, with an estimated duration of 2–2.5 hours.
• At every location, quiz questions and background information await the player.
• The walk starts at the "City Base," where the first drink can also be picked up.
• At Wine points, the wine tasting drink is available upon showing the application. 

5. The course of the walk – Retro edition

In the Retro edition of Urban Wine Adventure® , all content arrives in a paper-based package. Participants will receive the following items:

• Station envelopes, Code cards
• Location cards
• City Knowledge "Codex"
• Question + answer cards
• Drink vouchers (Redeemable at wine points)
• Lifebuoy cards
• Guide envelope with the "Guide"

During the walk, the envelopes must be opened in order based on unique logical decoding and responses. The correct answers determine the next station.

The retro version does not require a smart device or internet connection. 

6. Urban Base and Wine Points

• The City Base is the designated starting and ending point in the given city. From here, the game begins, and this is where the first drink is received, as well as the cup, which is given in exchange for a deposit fee.
• At the Wine Points, only the person who has purchased the specific program is entitled to receive a wine tasting. Further consumption is possible according to the venue's own price list.

Important: The opening hours of the Boros points may vary, so please adjust the walk according to the opening hours! 

7. Other conditions

• The program includes alcoholic beverages, so only individuals over 18 years old can participate in the wine tasting.
• On weekdays, alcohol consumption is only permitted after 3:30 PM. On weekends, public holidays, and during school breaks, there is no time limit.
• The program does not have to be completed in one day, but the stations can only be visited in order of progression.
• The responses and read content collected during the walk will be sent to the participants via email at the end of the game.
• The program may also include a surprise at the end. 

8. Handling of data

The personal data provided during the Urban Wine Adventure® program (e.g., name, email address) will be used solely for the purpose of fulfilling the service and conducting the game. Data processing complies with the applicable data protection regulations (GDPR). 

9. Responsibility

• The player participates in the program at their own risk, particularly with regard to traveling on public roads, consuming alcohol, and the weather conditions.
• The organizer is not responsible for any accidents or inconveniences that occur during the program.
• Participants are required to adhere to the house rules of the hospitality venues and the community regulations.
